To Krazy Glue or not to Krazy Glue?- I am asking this question

So, this bowl is one of two matching bowls that my Aunt Trina made for me. One of the few treasured pieces I have of hers. They are totally one of a kind, and totally priceless! So last night as I was washing this bowl (which was already cracked once by an unknown dropper, and Krazy glued once) it fell off of the dish rack and BROKE! ARGH! I let a few ugly words out of my mouth and then accepted it. But now, do I glue it back together and use it as a candy dish? If I do that, it won't be as close to it's twin. Should I break it up more and use it as a mosaic on something? Well, that will probably go in my "cool stuff I'm going to make some day" closet that is already a bit full, and even then it won't be close to it's twin.

Basically, I'm just really sad. It's a special bowl, and pretty perfect with the handy handly on the side. So, I'm totally bummed and I think I'll Krazy Glue it and put some candy in it.

  1. I'm assuming you Krazy Glued it - how did it turn out?

  2. hey! came over to your blog to check it out a minute and saw this post, so sorry! Aunt Trina made me some candlestick holders as well and one of them I discovered cracked when I unpacked the box after our move. I was so devastated! I would try the glue and just use it for a candy bowl or to hold things not edible if you have the patience to glue it back together, but you might have tossed it already!!!! good luck!!!
